A recent survey shows that more and more of us like to holiday with our dog, and why not?  Your dog is a member of your family and having them with you while you take a break away from the usual routine seems the obvious choice to make.

Financially it makes sense as well.  It may only be after you have booked your holiday accommodation that you realise you then have to spend a small fortune on boarding kennels – it all adds up!

Choosing a pet friendly property does not mean you should have to choose a lower standard of accommodation.  Many quality holiday homes welcome pets, provided they follow a few simple house rules.  At Rhumhor we are very happy to see our guests bring their well behaved family dog and over the past few months we have had some lovely canine friends to stay.   From Moritz the Sheepdog to Maisy the West Highland Terrier they have all enjoyed their family holidays here on the shores of Loch Goil.
