We are often asked how close we are to Loch Goil. Rhumhor really does provide loch-side self catering. The front gardens are separated from the shore by a quiet single track road. This short video was taken sitting on that shore and shows the view you can see every day if you stay at Rhumhor.

This a a fantastic walk from Carrick Castle to the village of Ardentinny on the shores of Loch Long. The first half has some wonderful views back over Loch Goil.

A video of our nearest town – Inveraray. It’s a lovely day out with the castle to visit, Inveraray Jail and a pretty harbour. There are interesting shops and lovely places to eat & drink.
